    Very easy to adjust between use for ice and regular tip.

    Waiting for snow and ice!

    We have not had snow and ice yet so have not used it to date. Seems secure in the down position and folds up out of the way. Only reason I did give it 4 Starsis because I have not send it yet.

    Great item for cane users in New England

    This was a gift to a recently disabled senior citizen. She is able to flip it up and down with ease. It gives her added stability and balance in snowy or icy weather. And we in Massachusetts have experienced the breaking of the all-time snowfall record, with 110 inches, along with ongoing below freezing temperatures, so my friend is thrilled with the Mabis ice grip.
