Additional Info

The Medline Excel Translator Rollator/Transport Chair is a triumph of engineering and design. As a 4 wheel rollator, it is unmatched in stability and convenience. The large wheels, 6” in the front and 7” in the rear, can handle any terrain, and the ergonomic handles with secure loop-lock brakes make it easy to grip and easy to stop. When the user gets tired, the rollator's backrest can be flipped and footrests pulled down to turn it into a fully operational transportation chair. The breathable nylon seat and backrest are both wide and comfortable for any user. Even better, the Medline Excel Translator features a convenient cup holder, under-the-seat basket, and zippered side carrying case.

This Rollator/Transport Chair combination is available in 2 colors: Red or Blue.

Very happy with this product!

After trying some other like products, I was afraid I wouldln't be able to find "the Chair". Medline has thought of everything. Its a little wider than some combinations but it is sturdy and well made. Even thought of way to keep the foot rests secure while using as a rollator. Only thing I would change but probably isn't doable is to make it so foot rests mechanism doesn't stick out so far - can scratch things. We are using a swim noodle over it to prevent damage. Small thing considering some of the obstacles we have had before. I would recommend this chair and Just Walkers - arrived early in good condition.

Just what I was looking for.

It was easy to use and helped a lot while we were on a trip. I was able to sit when sore/tired and my husband was able to push me. There was a slight wobble when being pushed but that could have been because of the floor. I use it daily at home when I get off work. Helps me to be able to "carry" things that I couldn't using a straight walker or cane.
We used velcro straps to get the long ends of the brake cables out of the way. I kept kicking them while walking.
It is a little difficult for me to get in/out of the car by myself, but I only use it outside the house when my husband is with me.

overall very sturdy

Please re-design with larger front wheels too like in the back. We tend to fall into cracks/trouble with going over bumps so we have to go backwards at times.

This One Is Perfect!

This is a flexable use chair/walker. Easy to lift into your car, and compact. It opens up easily to use as a rollator and with a simple flip of the back support and a gentle pull on the foot supports it easily converts to a chair. Closing is a cinch with the grab handles attached to the seat, by simply pulling up. The foot rests are conveniently located on the side of the chair, and clip back when not in use. The brakes are especially helpful when using as a rollator. They lock in place stablizing the chair for support. The two cordura bags that attach to the front and side of the chair were a real bonus. For me this was a 5 star combination chair/rollator that looks good, is easy to use as a rollator and sturdy enough to use as a chair.
