I am reliant on crutches due to a very high leg amputation. Thus, I go through a lot of crutch tips (and crutches). When I bought my current pair of crutches, these were the tips that came with them. I like the fact that the disks are durable, and do not wear down so quickly, while at the same time the neck of the tip allows them to stay flat on the ground during the step. HOWEVER, the very rigidity of the disk that permits that durability means that when you lean the crutch against something when not in use, the tip does not grip at that slant on a tile floor, and the crutch goes skittering away. This is a major nuisance and the main reason why I can only rate these tips as average.
I actually needed tips for my SmartCrutch brand name made in the UK, but they are not currently shipping to US. Therefore I took a chance these would work. The price was reasonable and they will work, but are not nearly as thick nor sturdy as the actual smart crutch brand. I'm certain they will wear out much quicker, however I had to have some and these will suffice rather than buying new crutches.
