It was a little over two years ago that Drive Medical came out with their popular Drive Nitro 4 Wheel Rollator. Now they’ve released three new versions-- the Tall Height Drive Nitro, the Short Height Drive Nitro, and the Heavy Duty Drive Nitro.
The original Nitro rollator features an adjustable height that goes from 33.5 inches to 38.25 inches. It works for users between 5’6” and 6’1”, and can support up to 300 pounds. The Short Height Drive Nitro goes as low as 28 inches and works for users who are 5’2” and below. The Tall Height Drive Nitro goes as high as 41 inches and works for users who are 6’ and above. The Heavy Duty Drive Nitro is made for larger users and can support up to 500 pounds.
Since its release in 2012, the original Drive Nitro has been getting rave reviews. “Caregiver” from Palm Beach County, Florida wrote, “We purchased this for my mother. She loves it. It is very easy to use and is lightweight yet very sturdy. She receives many compliments and everyone wants to know where she got it!” And “Happy Camper” from Rapid River, Michigan wrote, “I love to go camping & with this walker I am able to walk around outside without having to worry about the walker getting stuck in the grass or ruff surfaces. I own 2 walkers and I would highly recommend the Nitro. I wish I would have found it sooner.”
