5 stars, Great new walker design
By daughter from St Louis on 2012-02-17
A little heavy for an elderly person to load into a car, but locks when folded making it easy for younger individual to put in car trunk or back seat. Great for individual in independent facility, tray and basket useful for carrying dinner and a multitude of other items. Seat does not extend too far back so as to limit proper walking area and promotes proper body mechanics. No looping brake lines to get caught. Great turning radius. My mom loves it!

4 stars, invacare fr300, well-designed, and cheap
By MrSpasboy from Kansas on 2011-05-17
Pros: Easy to maneuver, Light
Cons: Small basket, Cheaply Made
Best Uses: Pretty good all-around
Invacare is the parent company of Dolomite. This is a chinese-made Dolomite Jazzy. If you can afford the extra cash, I would buy the Dolomite Jazzy instead. Good design for the money though.

4 stars, Excellent Rollator
By Wally from Berkeley Hts, NJ on 2011-04-14
Pros: Sturdy solid feel, Easy to Collapse, Comfortable seat
Cons: Lack of cane holder
The FR300 Rollator is easy to handle. It stands upright when collapsed and fits easily into car trunk. A cane holder would be useful (I made one from a short piece of 1-1/2" PCV pipe). The height dash-marks could be numbered. Otherwise, an excvellent high-quality product.

Questions on Invacare FR300 Rollator
-
- My friend has Parkinsons and this product looks good. However, he wants to carry his little dog (7-8 lbs) in basket. There is nothing about basket size. It looks good in picture. Would dog fit and if not would a separate medical walker basket fit on it?
- The basket measures 16 1/4" x 6 1/4" x 6 1/4" at the top and 3 1/2" at the bottom. We do not recommend putting small animals in any of the walker/rollator baskets or pouches for safety reasons.

- The handles are not very long. While walking, it looks like you would bump into the seat with your legs. What do you think?
Have you tried walking in one?
If the shipment is damaged during transit, will you charge for sending it back, assuming I order a replacement?
Regards,
Jim - When walking, you will not bump into the seat with your legs. While the handles look short, it is just the angle of the picture and the handles are long enough to walk and not run into the rollator. If the item is damaged in shipping, we will have a replacement sent out and a call tag issued for the damaged walker. However, I wouldn't worry as this problem rarely happens!
